We are tackling global plastic pollution - and you will be part of the solution!
At traceless, we develop and produce a new generation of materials designed to integrate harmoniously into nature instead of leaving harmful traces. Our patented technology transforms agricultural residues into traceless®: a plastic-free, home-compostable and biobased granulate that works in harmony with nature - not against it.
As part of our team, you will contribute to our bold mission: replacing plastic at scale and building a climate-neutral, circular materials industry. More than just a job, this is your opportunity to join a science-driven, purpose-led and pioneering team determined to create real change.
Join our collaboration between the Institute of Technical Biocatalysis at Hamburg University of Technology and traceless® materials. Traceless produces fully home-compostable biopolymers made from agricultural side streams. As the company continues to scale the production of its bio-based polymer — an alternative to conventional plastics — ensuring consistently high product quality becomes increasingly important.
To support this mission, you will contribute significantly to the analytical characterization of materials and processes.
In this bachelor’s thesis project, you will investigate relationships between substrate quality and material properties using MIR and NIR spectroscopy. Based on this data, you will develop chemometric models that enable the reliable prediction of a relevant process parameter.
