As a Civil Engineer at traceless, you won't just plan buildings - you'll lay the groundwork for homecompostable materials revolution. Your expertise in civil engineering and construction management in an industrial production environment, especially in the EU, is based on several years of experience.
Join us in transforming industrial production and make real impact - from green field to global change!Your Impact: - Conceptual Design and Development of New Production Sites: you lead the civil engineering required to transform greenfield or brownfield locations into our new production facilities.
- Cost Management: You take responsibility for the scoping, estimation and controlling of civil costs.
- Coordination: You take over scope of services, manage the completion of associated work packages and cooperate with architectural and/or civil engineering offices worldwide.
- Construction Permit Applications: are your specialty and you ensure the timely completion of work packages by ensuring the delivery of all required civil engineering documents for the selected location.
- Construction Site Management: You supervise and coordinate construction work on site (worldwide), ensuring completion as per the agreed schedule and specification.

Your profile
- Educational Background: you successfully mastered your studies in Civil Enigneering or similar.
- Technical Expertise:
- Experienced in Industrial Building Construction: Industrial buildings containing processing/production plants as well as offices and warehouses.
- International Building Code (IBC), VOB and German Building Norms are your daily language.
- Building Design: You are able to read sketches, drawings, layouts and models (hand, 2D CAD, 3D CAD, etc.) and are able to formulate clear requirements in building specifications external planning offices, as well to derive technical requirements to be met during construction.
- Sustainability Analysis: You evaluate the environmental impact of your daily work, focusing on minimizing resource and energy consumption. You do not settle with the current status quo but want to develop a more sustainable version of it. You are striving to generate a real impact!
- Selfinitiated Driver: You are willing to take responsibility for topics and are proactively taking the lead. You are familiar with delivering solutions within budget, in time and quality, and are keen on developing yourself with every single challenge you solve.
- Team-Player: You are a true Team-Player with an extraordinary sense for human communication. You bring your sense of humor and are jointly committed to a collegial environment.
- Problem-Solving Skills & Responsibility: You are a naturally problem solver, creative and solution-oriented. You take responsibility, communicate and lead projects in advance to elaborate a joint solution.
- Flexible and Agile: You bring the willingness to plan with flexibility, while keeping close coordination with supply, plant engineering and electrics, but also with design and corporate identity.

- Coordination & Organizational Ace: You are the biggest talent in organizing chaotic environments and keep calm even within the most stressful situations. You are keen on delivering your projects in time and coordinate accordingly with the team.

- Language Skills: You speak English and German fluently and understand technical concepts in both languages.

About us
traceless is a young company - with a big vision: a future free of pollution and waste! Our award-winning company was founded in Hamburg in 2020 by our female founding duo Anne and Johanna. By now we are a diverse team from different disciplines, ages and twelve nationalities, united by our common mission: to contribute to solving plastic pollution and build the regenerative industry of the future. To achieve this, we are working to bring our materials to market quickly and to build our first large-scale production facility in Hamburg-Harburg.
