Mit unserer innovativen Technologie stellen wir aus pflanzlichen Reststoffen der Agrarindustrie ein innovatives und umweltfreundliches Biomaterial her - biobasiert, plastikfrei und kompostierbar. Ein Material, das keine schädlichen Spuren hinterlässt. Damit möchten wir möglichst viel Kunststoff ersetzen, und hier kommst Du ins Spiel.

Als Proketdirektor:in für Industrieanlagenbau (m/w/d) übernimmst Du eine Schlüsselrolle in der Umsetzung unserer großtechnischen Produktionsanlagen (Investitionsvolumen > 100M€) und trägst dazu bei, traceless als Pionier der nachhaltigen Materialwirtschaft zu etablieren.

Mit Deiner umfassenden Erfahrung im Bau und Management von Industrieanlagen steuerst Du den gesamten Projektlebenszyklus – von der Konzeptentwicklung über die Detailplanung bis hin zur Inbetriebnahme. Du stellst sicher, dass Kommunikation, Prozesse und Strukturen effizient ineinandergreifen und alle Beteiligten optimal zusammenarbeiten. Dein vorausschauendes Risikomanagement und Deine strategische Weitsicht sorgen dafür, dass Herausforderungen frühzeitig erkannt und gelöst werden.

Deine Expertise im Anlagenbau, der Versorgungstechnik und den Genehmigungsprozessen ermöglicht es Dir, unsere Produktionskapazitäten skalierbar und zukunftssicher aufzubauen. So leistest Du einen entscheidenden Beitrag zur Realisierung unserer Vision einer plastikfreien Zukunft und bringst nachhaltige Innovationen auf das nächste Level.

Deine Aufgaben umfassen:

Eigenverantwortliche Planung, Steuerung und Umsetzung von Projekten im Bau von Industrieanlagen inkl. bau- und versorgungstechnischer Infrastruktur.
Sicherstellung der technischen, wirtschaftlichen, nachhaltigen und terminlichen Zielerreichung.
Kommunikation, Abstimmung und Reporting mit internen und externen Stakeholdern (Geschäftsführenden, Fachabteilungen, Dienstleistenden, Behörden & Board-Mitgliedern).
Verantwortung für Risikomanagement, Qualitätssicherung und Einhaltung gesetzlicher Vorschriften.
Steuerung und Optimierung der Projektabläufe, einschließlich Ressourcen- und Budgetplanung.
Leitung von interdisziplinären Teams und enge Zusammenarbeit mit der Geschäftsführung.
Förderung von innovativen, nachhaltigen und kreislauforientierten Ansätzen im Bauwesen und Anlagenbau
Proaktive Unterstützung bei der Suche nach Fördermitteln und Investitionsmöglichkeiten für industrielle Anlagen.

Dein Profil

Abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Maschinenbau, Verfahrenstechnik, Bauingenieurwesen, Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation.
Mehr als 10 Jahren Erfahrung in der erfolgreichen Durchführung und dem strategischen Management komplexer, groß angelegter Industrieanlagenprojekte (Investitionsvolumen > 100 Mio. €)
Exzellente Kommunikationsfähigkeit gegenüber internen und externen Stakeholdern.
Nachgewiesene Erfahrung in Projektmanagement-Methoden (z. B. PMP, PRINCE2, Lean Management).
Sehr gute Kenntnisse in Anlagenbau, Verfahrenstechnik und Produktionsprozessen, vorzugsweise Bioökonomie-, Chemie- oder vergleichbare Industrie.
Fundierte Erfahrung in der Budget- und Kostenkontrolle sowie Kostenoptimierung von finanziellen Großprojekten.
Strategische Weitsicht mit Fokus auf finanziellen Erfolg und nachhaltige Wirkung
Vertraut mit rechtlichen Vorgaben, technischen Normen und Genehmigungsprozessen.
Hands-on-Mentalität und lösungsorientierte Denkweise.
Erfahrung in der Führung von Projektteams und Zusammenarbeit mit internationalen Partnern.
Sicherer Umgang mit ERP-Systemen, CAD-Software und MS Project von Vorteil.
Fließende Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift.

Your mission

We’re solving global plastic pollution – and you can be part of the solution!

With our groundbreaking technology, we transform agricultural plant residues into an innovative and environmentally friendly biomaterial – bio-based, plastic-free, and compostable. A material that leaves no harmful traces. Our goal is to replace as much conventional plastic as possible – and that’s where you come in.

As a Project Director for Industrial Plant Engineering (m/f/d), you will play a key role in the realization of our large-scale production facilities (investment volume > €100M), contributing to establishing traceless as a pioneer in the sustainable materials industry.

With your extensive experience in industrial plant construction and project leadership, you will manage the entire project lifecycle – from concept development and detailed planning to commissioning. You’ll ensure that communication, processes, and structures run smoothly and that all stakeholders collaborate effectively. Your proactive risk management and strategic foresight enable you to identify and address challenges early on.

Your expertise in plant engineering, utilities, and regulatory processes enables you to build production capacities that are scalable and future-proof. In this way, you’ll make a decisive contribution to realizing our vision of a plastic-free future and take sustainable innovation to the next level.

Your responsibilities:

Independent planning, management, and execution of industrial plant construction projects, including building and utility infrastructure.
Ensuring that all technical, economic, sustainable, and timeline targets are met.
Communication, alignment, and reporting with internal and external stakeholders (executive management, specialist departments, service providers, authorities & board members).
Responsibility for risk management, quality assurance, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Coordination and optimization of project workflows, including resource and budget planning.
Leadership of interdisciplinary teams and close collaboration with the management team.
Champion innovative, sustainable, and circular approaches in construction and engineering.
Proactively identify and cultivate strategic funding partnerships and investment opportunities

Your profile

University degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering, civil engineering, industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification.
A proven track record with over 10 years’ experience successfully delivering and strategically managing complex, large-scale industrial facility projects (investment volumes exceeding €100M).
Excellent communication skills towards internal and external stakeholders
Proven experience in project management methodologies (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, Lean Management).
Strong knowledge of plant construction, process engineering, and production operations – ideally in bioeconomy, chemical industry, or similar sectors.
Demonstrated excellence in strategic financial oversight, rigorous budget management, and cost optimization of large-scale capital projects.
Strategic foresight with evidence of financial success and sustainable impact.
Familiarity with legal requirements, technical standards, and permitting procedures.
Hands-on mentality and a solution-oriented mindset.
Experience leading project teams and working with international partners.
Proficiency in ERP systems, CAD software, and MS Project is an advantage.
Fluency in both German and English, written and spoken.
